The Goodman's go to Spring Training

There is nothing better than fresh cut grass, sunflower seeds, the sound of the ball hitting the bat, funny drunk fans and taking in a Diamondbacks game with the family. I couldn't wait until the Cub's played the D-backs in Mesa so we could take the kids to a spring training game. I have learned from other mother's that if you want your kids to enjoy the game then sit out in the grass and bring fun things to do, and that's just what we did. I smuggled in water, snacks, games, and anything else that would fit into a rolled up blanket and walked right in. Between the chanting "let's go d-backs" and the funny vendors my children thought the day couldn't get any better. I just wish it hadn't been 90 degree's outside but who cares when the D-backs are playing.
