We were just 1 week into school and I was up at the front office hanging out with Deseree, Cyndi, and Nylene telling them how awful I was feeling. Cyndi said "let's get this delivery over with, I have things to do this weekend" I went home and by the time the kids were done with school I called Jenny and said "Hey, can you take me to the hospital?" Mark was still 3 hours away in Snowflake and I wasn't sure I would make it through the night with my contractions. Cyndi sent her oldest daughter Jessica over to watch the kids and off Jenny and I were to the Hospital. The only ease in my pain was when we arrived the nurse who was in charge of patient check-in thought Jenny was my mother. HA HA Ha!! Then just moments later the labor and delivery nurse though Jenny was my "significant other" HA! HA! HA! The look on Jenny's face both times almost made me pee my bed.
The call was made to Mark that I was in labor and off he drove as fast as he could down the mountain. He made it just as I was getting my epidural, both Jenny and Cyndi commented on how they were their for all of the screaming and moaning, while he arrived just in time to see his wife lounging in bed.
Now what do 3 women do with no kids, no husbands, and time to kill while waiting for me to dialate? Go shopping at the gift shop of course. Then it was time to sneak in dinner before the nurses yelled at me that I couldn't eat. DUMB RULE! and I ate anyway.
It was great to have my cheering section their. Mark to yell at, Jenny to hold my legs, and Cyndi capturing every grunt and expression on her camera. I couldn't have done it with out my crew.
