Kindergarten? What? I'm confused.

O.k. I remember my first day of young women's at church when I was 12 yrs old, and feeling like I was so old and cool. I then remember Christmas morning when I was 16 and waking up to a new truck with a big red bow in the front and for the first time being in a vehicle with out an adult and remember thinking.......I am finally old enough. I remember with a blink of an eye I graduated high school, beauty school, and was some one's wife, however time has never flown so fast as tonight when I was getting all of Kimball's papers together because tomorrow is registration for Kindergarten. KINDERGARTEN!! How did I become a mother 5 years ago, I still feel like I am just starting off and haven't gotten my rhythm down yet. SO WHAT HAPPENED? How did my perfect little baby boy grow into this kid that I hang out with and has become one of my dearest friends? It's true he is one of my dearest friends, we spend most of our time together and I love taking him wherever I have to go. He is a delight and has a smile that could light up a room. A part of me feels like I will loose this great side kick as he goes on to bigger things, as for now I will soak up all I have of my buddy and thank Heaven's I still have 6 more months with him.

  1. So glad to see that you have a blog! I ran into mark today and your mom last week. I love your mom she cracks me up. Where the heck is Merediths blog? Tell her to get on the ball or at least that rach says hi.

I totally get what you are saying. I remember sitting in classes and thinking that the day was never going to end. then I graduated and time flew then I got married and it went faster and then kids and I seriously sometimes don't remember yesterday and I feel like Christmas is always around the corner. Gavin starts Kindegarten next year too! I can't believe we are old enough to have kids in school. They are awesome.
