The Goodman's Est. 2001

The Goodman Family Est. 2001

12/1/08

Finally, it's Christmas time.

We have started a tradition in our house out of necessity, as in...... Mom needs to learn to let her children help decorate the Christmas tree and not get frustrated when her tree isn't perfect. So with that said I can explain the tradition. Every year Mark and our kids will move the furniture, get out our tree, and put on all the lights. Momma (that's me) will add all of the ornaments, and then Jenny (across the street) will come over and with her magic Martha Stewart touch will add the finishing touches.
When I said "finishing touches" I meant, take it all down and rehang everything on the tree while making dozens of trips between her house and mine to grab her cute decorations and replace my tacky ones.
My life would be so tacky with out my Jenny.

  1. It's VERY hard to "let go" and let the kids do stuff! I like things the way I like them, so I always end up rearranging things, too.

    Long story short:
bargainmoms.blogspot.com is a site I started about a year ago to share some of my bargains with my friends and family. No one would believe me when I said that I got 60 boxes of cereal (the good stuff) for free during one of the Fry's promos. I have a few friends that contribute to it as well. We do a lot of coupon stuff with our Sunday papers, but we also just share the "best" grocery deals each week etc as well. All you have to do is click on that pic on my BLOG.

    What is your email address?
